Glad to see everyone is enjoying our first walkaround video!! Today we are going to treat you to a look behind the Carousel of Progress main console! These pictures and videos were taken by Joey and me on New Years Eve 2020 and are a great example of the concept "you never know unless you ask". With very few good photographs or information existing on the internet of this we knew we had to get behind there and do what we do best...DOCUMENT IT!!! I had originally asked a CM if we could go back there and unfortunately was told that we would not be able to for "safety reasons". As we were standing in the queue waiting for the next show a phone call was made on our behalf and T-Land management showed up! Much to our surprise management told us that they were happy to see our interest in the attraction and would have no issue with us going back there to check it out! Joey and I were both able to film a video and get pictures while the CM was giving us a brief rundown of how it all works. We would be more than happy to answer anyone's specific questions in The Carousel of Progress Club Discord server (Discord).
Note: This was taken before the original turnstiles were removed. A screen was later added on the left side of the console that showed the theoretical number of people in a show. This counter had to be reset by the CMs. While the CM in the video did mention that this interface times the entire show, we have other sources that claim this is not true and that this interface is for the timing of the theater only.
