Walkaround Time!!

We are going to kick things off with some walkaround footage from the morning of March 9th 2022. These “walkarounds” offered us an incredible opportunity to get up close and personal with many different aspects of the show. We would usually be able to secure our own theater two different times each day. Rope drop and fireworks! While everyone else was rushing to get to Space Mountain in the morning or wasting their time watching fireworks at night…we would be hanging around the entrance to COP waiting for our own theater!! With permission from the monitors cast member (which sometimes wouldn’t happen depending on who was working) we would be able to run around in front of the stages during the show and get some INSANE footage. This is just one of MANY of these that we did over the years!!
Joey would take up center stage filming John and I would run back and forth between the turntables. We both had our phones attached to extension clips which for me made it possible to reach between the scrims and curtains and get an un-obstructed view of the sets. All this while being careful not to accidentally trip the infrared intrusion sensors lining the front of the stage. There were however several instances throughout doing these where my shirt did brush across the lip of the stage as I was leaning over causing this to happen. In this video we were joined by our friend Jack! Enjoy!

The beginning (of the end)

Well, here we are...just one day away from one of the worst mistakes that the Walt Disney company will ever make. Joey and I have spent the last 7 years wondering when this day would come...but we knew it eventually would. Joey and I met each other in a YouTube comment section with one thing in common...an overwhelming obsession for Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. We would spend hours upon hours discussing, researching, and obsessing over every little detail of the attraction. We made a promise to each other all those years ago that we would do everything in our power to document every inch of this attraction, and we have spent the last 7 years faithfully carrying that out. We have dedicated all these years of trips to WDW for nothing other than COP and have done things that no one else would ever be willing to do. The time has come for us to share these things with the world and make sure this attraction will never be forgotten. So sit back and relax as we take you on Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress through the adventures of TJ & Joey.

Inspired by the adventures of Hoot and Chief :)
